Yeah, it seems so. Of course, it may be that paleobotanists are just calling these things "laurels." After all, all they have to go on is leaf-impressions, without any information about stems or flowers or anything.
That leaf shapes are as real as I could make them, but the arrangement on the branch comes entirely from the air. If you have better ideas for good laurel branch-shapes, let me know.
