All right!
This is pretty preliminary and these things are not to scale BUT, here are some of the megaflora of Hell Creek (Maastrichtian montana)

From top to bottom we have:

Liriodendrites bradacii: A magnolia

Marmarthia trivialis: A laurel

Marmarthia pearsoni: A laurel

Platanites marginata: A sycamore or plane-tree

Bisonia niemii: possibly another laurel

Erlingdorfia montana: Another sycamore

Leepiesceia presrtocarpoides: another laurel

This list omits the most common taxon: "Dryophyllum" subfalcatum, which I can't find any pictures for :(

Done while listening to: Harii Pottaa to Kenja no Ishi

Great! I hope you won't mind if I oneday will use your research-results as reference. You don't see mesozoic plant-reconstructions that often.
As I said, great work and thank you for the effort you took in it.

I didn't really do anything additional to the papers I found (and linked in the description), but thanks. And please use this stuff---that's why I made it.

Really great stuff, plenty of laurels in Hell Creek eh?

Yeah, it seems so. Of course, it may be that paleobotanists are just calling these things "laurels." After all, all they have to go on is leaf-impressions, without any information about stems or flowers or anything.

Interesting piece! Good to see some darn-weird laurels =D

That leaf shapes are as real as I could make them, but the arrangement on the branch comes entirely from the air. If you have better ideas for good laurel branch-shapes, let me know. :)

Those branch shapes are good enough, donīt worry =)
